Export ""friends & "blocked" doesn't work.

I'm running Spamilator Version 1.0: Copyright (c) 2002-2003 Michel Krämer

1) Just downloaded plugin: "exportsenders_1_2_2.exe" & installed. Tried to find .exe file in order to create desktop shortcut to no avail.

2) Next right clicked tray icon>settings>export senders to no avail.

Neither above methods worked.

Question: Since the "exportsenders_1_2_2.exe" plugin does not work & the export function that comes with this version does not work, HOW do I exportsenders, like in the previous version?

Hello klxdrt!

Michel Krämer, the program author of Spamihilator, has decided to convert his storage from plain text to a database. Unfortunately, you can't use the old helper plugin "exportsenders" any more. If you need to work with such a database file manually, you can use the freeware "sqliteadmin", see screenshot.

But, one personally remark, I wouldn't use it for blocked senders, as they do change faster than a blink anyway.

Only now I have understood, why I didn't find the critical Spamihilator folder!
It's "C:\Users\MY_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\Spamihilator"

You can see it after you have configured your Windows 7 properties:

Thanks for the quick reply, I was able to figure out how to use/export with the sq lite viewer and also found the senders.db. So I'm good to go when I set up my w7 pc.

Of course, I was looking in the C:\programs folder where over 25 yr of extensive PC use where 99.9% of my programs are stored rather in "C:\Users\MY_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\Spamihilator".
