Forged sender in spam

I recently got a couple of spams that slipped through Spami, they didn't appear in the training area. I found out that they had used my own e-mail adress as sender and of course I have my own adress on the friends list.

Is it common that spammers send spam like this?

Yes, it is! And you should remove your own address from the friends list.
