VB Runtime error - Win7 64 bit

I've just had a problem with Spami causing a VB Runtime error on Windows 7 64-bit. It doesn't stop the processing completely as you can see that the number of messages being processed increments but the close won't complete. Killing off the two Spami processes and starting again doesn't remove the problem, presumably because the mail causing the problem is still on the server.

I eventually removed the problem by removing mails from the server but so far as I could see they had all been downloaded anyway.

I do not understand deeper the problem between the server and Spamihilator. But it seems to me a very important information, that the close command stays incomplete.

a few more details might be helpful (for the programmer); for example a screenshot or a exact error message.

Unfortunately I don't have any further information as I had to remove the message(s) causing the problem from the ISP's server in order to be able to get e-mail down again.

The error message itself was just one I've seen before which read something like 'The application has asked VB to shut down in an illegal fashion'.

The reason I reported this without much detail was in case somebody had seen it before and had a solution. If it happens again I will gather as much detail as I can.
