To me, it shouldn't occur any problem with the components you imparted to us ... WinXP, Outlook 2007. About Vipre I still know very few.

Could you give us further insight in the components of your computer? If better, you could write a PM to Michel Krämer or to me.

Unfortunately Spami keeps crashing. It looks like it crashes almost everytime it's coming out of the "Training area" at the end of the message processing...

I have excluded the entire Spami folder under "Program Files" and disabled the email protection.

Anything else I can try?

Until now, I didn't know VIPRE. It's ok so far, as you can configure it some way.

No crash whatsoever with any other software and the Antivirus I use is VIPER.

I have disabled the email protection and it appears to be working fine. No crashing so far!

Hi!

The crash report was not very revealing. I suppose there's some other program installed on your system interfering with Spamihilator. Do you have any Anti Virus software installed or something that hooks deeply into the system? Do you experience crashes of other programs?

Done. Sent email to the error report email including the dmp file.

Would you please let me know? I like the software and I want to keep using it...better if the crashing stops!!!

Spami still crashes...a few times a day. It looks like it crashes after I check the "training area" and close it. Each time I have to reset the mailbox username and password. Pretty annoying!

Hi Alex,

Spamihilator does operate with Windows and Outlook versions usually.
In version 0.9.9.60 of Spamihilator, there is no known bug animore.
Did you still watch crashes, after having updated to 0.9.9.60, and after
having deleted any remaining „spamihilator“ directory?

The problem with Spamihilator „asking for the username and password“
sounds a little bit likely to be caused by server problems. Does that
always affect the same mail-account?
Perhaps it may help to delete the servers in the settings of the SSL/TLS,
they will be gathered by the next mail reception.

Ok, I tried and got the same occasional crash.

On another note one thing VERY annoying is that Spami a few times a day keeps asking for the username and password to check the mailbox. Doesn't matter what I type (I know 100% I set the correct username and password) the login windows pops up with:

Server: 127.0.0.1
Username: mail_server&my_username
Password: my password

I have to click OK everytime to make it work even if I select the "save password" box.

It feels like Spami is forgetting the account username/password...

Any ideas?

The programmer of Spamihilator has released a stable version: 0.9.9.60.
As Anbuva wrote, it could be better to install the new beta version,
and then see, if the problem occurs again at all.

No plug-ins in Outllok. Actually in the last day Outlook has been stable but Spami crashed 3 or 4 times with the same error. It crashes while checking email...maybe some of the email that are coming through are causing the error? Hopefully the dump file will help you to fix the problem. It is a bit annoying!

When the program (Outlook) stops responding, the problem probably lies more in the program itself. Otherwise, I would guess the new Spamihilator-version (Spamihilator Beta 0.9.9.60). The message (dmp-file) here should certainly bring a little light into the darkness...
Is there any plug-ins that are used in Outlook? Sometimes also security suites can creates errors.

OS Windows XP
Spami 0.9.9.53
Plug-ins: the list that gets installed automatically (8 total).

Problems:
A few times I got a "Spami- irreversible error" with "click here to close". I had to restart Spami but the emails that were in "Restore" mode got lost ;-(

Also, I found Microsoft Outlook (at different times, the two events appear to be not correlated) Outlook 2007 was frozen. It means I couldn't click anywere within the MS Outlook and I had to shut it down using the Task Manager. At the restart everything worked fine for another while. The computer is fresh of OS installation with anything else installed except Microsoft Office.

UPDATE: just sent the DMP file to your support email...

Please a few more details and what exactly happened....
What do you mean with "frozen" (nothing work? Perhaps a security-suite can make trouble). Which version (0.9.x....), what a operating system (Windows...), which Spamihilator-plugins are installed.... thank you...
