I'm also using the "good" word strategy with great success. I was not aware of the whitestring filter until now and I'm using the IMP-filter. As HanSatan and anbuva have already said, the IMP-Filter is another possibility to add "good" words. The Nonspamwords-project is is a small example for this strategy:

With the IMP-Filter some more fine tuning is possible for programming freaks. For example there might be a problem with the whitestring filter, if the domain of your email address or homepage is a "good" word, because spammers often insert these addresses into the text. In a TextTransformer project for the IMP filter such addresses could be separated from the pure good words. I don't know, whether this is possible with the whitestring filter too.

Yep...indeed...tried it and it works great. I prefer to have a spam containing the (sexually tinted) "endurance" word rather than missing out on being able to sell an endurance race :)

If you mean by "multiple accounts" different users that log onto Windows with different names, that's not my case...I only use the admin account to log in. I do however have 6 different email accounts.

I'll see what it says, gonna try it right away.

The filter is "relatively" simple, but he can surely (i think) also contact him (also in the Forum) to settle some questions better. :)

This is not the problem. Its due to the multi-user accounts (VISTA and also XP too). The filter cannot handle several users. It works, but not like it just should. :wink:

I'm using Whitestring here with good results with newest Spamihilator.

Unfortunately :cry: no longer fully compatible with the new versions and under multi-user-accounts.
I recommend the IMP-Filter here too. This can be adjusted so as one would like it. :wink:

Please try [b]Whitestring-Filter v 1.5.0 Filter[/b] (http://www.spamihilator.com/plugins?category=1&start=15&limit=15&detail=38) I think it will suit your needs. Simply install it and put it on very top of your priority list. Then add your specific "good" words in settings of filter. Please remember to choose those words carefully, because if you put some spam word there you will get a lot of false negatives. For example "endurance" phrase is not recommended. It's used in a lot of "sexual content spam" :D

You can also try IMP filter by Dr. Detlef Meyer-Eltz (check plugins directory on spamihilator.com). It can do amazing advanced things.

But I think Whitestring will be fine for now, I'm using it too.

Hi everyone,

is there a way in Spami to add "good" words? Meaning : I am the owner of an indoor go kart track and I receive a lot of mails from (potential) customers. Some of these mails are sometimes considered spam. What I'd like to do (if possible) is tell Spami that if a mail contains (in the header or the message-body) certain words (f.i. kart, endurance, race, GP....) it is ALWAYS a good mail (i.e. NOT spam).

Is this possible?
