Hi aonali6!

As far as I know, in html-mails, there could be hided some malicious scripts.
Usually, your antivirus software should block that.
We used to have a Script Filter (from the programmer Bob Loeffler), but
unfortunately, it doesn't work with the 64-bit version any more ...

I’ve been reading about some viruses that can be transferred via email body, meaning you do not need to open an attachment. These redirect your browser to go to some malicious web site and download something harmful, rather than contain something directly harmful itself. I am not sure about this.
then you can still filter out these messages via a message rule. The rule will be configured like this;

Rule type: Apply this rule after the message arrives
Condition: none
Action 1: move it to the Junk E-mail folder
Action 2: stop processing more rules
Exception:except if the subject or body contains ’a’ or ‘e’ or ‘i’ or ‘o’ or ‘u’
(note that you’ll have to press “Add” after each letter entered)

Hello godmcgarvey!

The Empty Mail Filter is the best one to catch such mails. In the new (stable) Spamihilator beta 0.9.9.59, which is the release candidate for a 1.0 coming soon, the Empty Mail Filter doesn't run any more, but it is very easy to create a rule for it in the new Rule Filter. You can only bypass the training area with the friends list or the blocked senders list, as far as I remember ...

I keep receiving mails which are completely blank. No sender, message, recipient, nothing

Now these are caught by the learning filter using the Empty Mail plugin but I'd like a way to have thse go straight to the Recycle

I am sure I managed it before but not since I had to restore my PC
